I honestly don't know if I can bring myself to wind up my brothers & work colleagues on Monday if it means crowing about a Chelsea victory.

Serious internal conflict.

Oh Bayern are the new Neverkusen.

Finished second in Bundesliga

Lost 5-2 in the German cup final

Lost in the Champions League final on penalties.

If that happened to us I would feel bad for months, imagine being second in the league, losing the Fa cup final and losing the Champions League final at the Emirates.

Bayern bottled it badly this season

I am definitely more angry that Chelsea won than happy that Spurs have missed out. But Spurs are more our direct rivals. There's no worse feeling than losing to them.

Of course we should aim for Chelsea's trophy winning ways.

Thats been practically happening to us for the last 7 years.

The Bayern manager has not won a trophy since 98, makes Wenger look like Gordon Greko.

As soon as I heard that stat I knew Bayern wouldnt win.

I think it would all be much easier to deal with if Spurs' disappointment were more visible this evening - like how watching all the gutted Utd fans helped us all cope with watching Nasri prance around like a lesbian

Well that's what we got with Barca.

We did?

Okay...

We did. Not from Biggus but from a few members of this board.

Not all in one season though Alfonso.

Two cup final losses in one season is heartbreak for any team

Hope you are all ready for Biggus to tell you that Chelsea are the best team in europe, every few weeks, for the next year. 😆

Way ahead of you Capi- UEFA the body who govern European football decided to have a tournament to determine who is the "Best team", and they give this "Best team"
a trophy as an award and call them Champions of Europe"......Do you see how this works......

As I said in the other thread- you folks will hear that a lot over the next year.

Not in one season, we tend to do it all in one week! (times 7). But yes, I know what you mean.

One good thing about Chelsea winning today is England's chances in the Euros have gone up I think. They have now players that have won titles (Man City players), players that have won the Champions League (Chelsea players), players that are used to winning things (Man Utd players) and Theo Walcott.

Just wondering - if Chelsea's win did NOT mean they automatically qualified for next season's competition, who would swap our season for theirs?

I would, in a heart beat.

If we got our hands on a European cup I would stop caring about the competition all together.

I just want one, we need that monkey off our backs.

I would swap it in a heartbeat.

Not sure if serious question?

He was joking lads.

He was probably only half joking.

I reckon some people would make a case of using the CL as a cash cow.

Must you bring Wenger into everything?

Was John Terry wearing shin pads? I need to know.

Possible grounds for extension of ban?

Just a quick scan around the interweb, Gunners seem very divided about Chelseas win (and Tottenhams loss).....

What a piece of shit John Terry is as well putting his kit on to celebrate, show a bit of fucking class you fucking chav. The guy had no right to be out there trying to steal the limelight as his actions nearly cost them. The likes of Ramires and Ivanovic deserved it more than him but the big man has to get himself at the front.

I thought Bayern even though they weren't all that were comfortably the better team however their finishing infront of goal was as bad as ours. Gomez is a strange one, the guy seems to mess up the most simple stuff yet has 41 goals this season crazy!

Chelsea really must have used up all their luck because fuck me that team is jammy as fuck. Barca and Bayern missed guilt edge chance after chance and those fuckers still managed to sneak in the back door and the sad thing is people will call this grit and determination. Nothing gritty and determined about parking the bus and watching the other side miss chance after chance.

Really gutting this is as I wanted our team to be the first London club to win the CL but despite all I say about Chelsea there is no doubt mentally they are a much stronger team than us. The likes of Drogba are born for games like this while we have too many show ponies who have achieved nothing yet strut around like they are the dogs danglies. Just look at our third place finish which should of been settled weeks ago yet we were clinging on for it in the final game of the season. Under any pressure our team usually crumbles however despite being outplayed in their last 3 CL games Chelsea kept playing and kept on going and they deserve credit for that.
