How on earth is mata not on that list but they include walker who has done fuck all, still reeling that we didnt get mata what a season he has had 13 goals and 18 assists in his first year.
PFA Nominations 2011/2012
This is voted on by the PFA's 4000 members is it not? And they are mostly British, and they are mostly idiots. It's not hard to see how Scottie Parker might get amongst the top six voted for, or that Rooney might win it. Hoping RvP though, he deserves it.
Dempsey was surely in for a shout

meh, we have Gervinho.
The young player award clearly needs re-defining. I don't consider 23 to be all that young anymore when you consider the top players at this level have generally been playing at this level for 3, 4 or 5 years. I don't see how someone who was a 35 million pound transfer and been an established international for 6 years, or someone like Bale who was last years player of the year and also been playing at this level for years are in the same category as someone like Chamberlain who is 18 and broke through in a lower league last season and the Premiership this season. Not saying Ox should win it, but surely the spirit of this award is aimed at someone like him rather than Aguero isn't it? Should probably be an u20/21 award IMO.
Anyway presumably it will be Rooney and Aguero.
