Kompany's a top centreback, definitely, but the Sky Sports commentators were embarrassing on Sunday. Lescott made a lot fewer mistakes during the game, but because Kompany is a big bad brash fucker they go way over the top about him and ignore Lescott.
I'm not saying Lescott is a better player btw, only that he was at least as good as Kompany against us, and, for me, better. Kompany is the sort of athlete you wish all your players could be, that's where he's different class for a centreback, but I think he's rash at times, and his concentration isn't that of a really, really top class centreback.
