Good to know. I don't use gmail so would explain why I wasn't having the same problem. Also I never tend to have my mobile internet turned on when out unless I'm using it.

Cracked the screen of my S3 yesterday. It's the third time I've done it in 2 years. First two times was due to dropping it (the second time happened only a few weeks after having it repaired after the first, gutted) but this time I just picked my phone up and saw the crack. I assume I had sat/leant against it and not noticed.

Luckily my contract is up in a few weeks though.

Invest in a gel cover, saved my LG G2 as it fell onto concrete from a good 7 feet (I was messing around on the monkey bars!)

I've dropped my HTC One a couple of times in the year (?) I've had it and there isn't a single scratch on it anywhere. It has the best build quality of any phone I've owned, by far. I don't have a cover either.

(Although the Beats Audio logo on the back rubbed off in about a week 😆 )

Yep, HTC makes the phones with the best build. I used to love the Nexus One. I dont know what happened between google and them. No more nexus devices from them 🙁

Agree with that. I am well pleased with my HTC One too; durable, dropped it more than once without a single mark. Was the same with my HTC Desire HD. I have one of those silicon cases though. I don't like the feel of it without a case. Too thin and weighs too little. Silicon case is good because it is easy to remove, which I have to do to get the damn thing in my car dock.

phone is a/an lg g2, loved it till the recent lollipop update. fuck! anyone with problems? solutions?

used to love the phone cos I could take it to a full day work, occasional use and no need to charge. Now it doesn't last more than 3-4 hours. Even drains out when you attach it to the car charger.

Been waiting for the new Htc M9 with much anticipation. Having read through several reviews I feel quite a bit disappointed. Galaxy S6, with or without the Edge, seems a better phone on most points. Now that Samsung has ditched the cheap plastic, I think I may opt for the S6. No Edge though, because it feels horrible to hold. Looks brilliant, but I don't like the feel of it. Not happy about going back to Samsung! So many things I like about Htc, but their newest model is not good enough for me to NOT go through the hassle of getting into a new interface and such.

The new S6 is made of more "exclusive" materials now, and the cost is that it's no longer water resistant, you can't change the battery and you can't expand your storage with memory cards. If that's a step up, I'd recommend an iPhone.
