For sure. I get most of my updates on other leagues, promising talents etc right here, and only watch a match in Spain or Germany once in a blue moon. I appreciate you guys for doing the hard yards for me, especially the part where you get emotionally invested in whether or not we sign players I've barely heard of, or for whom I've only watched the five minute highlights reel. 🙂

Shakhtar by the way means miner, there are about 20 clubs in Slavic countries with it in the name. If nowhere else you learn that by betting on obscure teams in exotic leagues, plenty guys I know who could barely locate Russia on a world map but who'd be glad to tell you the odds for the next Belarussian League 2 relegation clash.
I probably coulda told you what Donetsk was (a city) if you'd asked, but I couldn't have told you if it was in Russia, Ukraine or another ex-Soviet state unless I'd linked it back to Shaktar in my mind. I've travelled a fair bit in Russia and even understand a bit of Russian and can read Cyrillic, but it's a pretty big and under-emphasised part of the world if you live in Australia.
As you yourself would undoubtedly be aware, people who give the impression of knowing everything usually have a shallow apprehension of most things. :saint:
