Talking about the '71 double, I recently came across the video(for the first time) for Def Leppard's "Rocket" and seeing Charlie George celebrating and McLintock lifting the cup was heartwarming, especially as it came totally unexpected to me.

ive been thinking a lot about eduardo recently. it really is amazing how that one day in birmingham changed everything. eduardo was hitting form and looked excellent. then that big oaf breaks his ankle. we give away a terrible penalty in stoppage time and end up drawing, and the season goes to shit. and of course, mike dean was the referee that day, fittingly.

anyway, all of eduardo's goals for arsenal. he really was a sublime finisher

That backheel/outside of the boot goal is still one of the coolest finishes I've ever seen. The guy had so much potential. Finished like Inzaghi, had skills like a proper #10.

Keown: it was bloody impressive!

Campbell: it was a dream!

Lehmann: it was alright....12 draws, that's 5 or 6 too many.
