And any money spent on a big signing should keep in mind that it'll be keeping a priceless player at the club too.

Well that's the risk you take when it comes to Robin, more the reason why we should bring in 1 top class forward(+ Podolski), would help soften the blow.

Yep. The club really needs that kind of a lift
RvP: Well once again, at the end of the season, we are going to have a calm/relaxed talk about it, and then we are going to talk about a number of things, which I do regularly with the manager, and because of that occasion [contract talks] the chairman will be there as well.
Just reading between the lines, seems like he has been talking with wenger about these things, could have promised him that the club will replace cesc & nasri with quality in the summer or some kind of assurance has been made & he's waiting to see if the club comes good on it [/quote]or maybe Im reading too much into it... fuck going to be gutted if he leaves :\

No problem, Campbell will be ready in a few years.
Forget next season. What if he gets injured Monday? Than all this euphoria that has clouded our view of the tragic state the club is in will dissolve into thin air.
What cloud of euphoria? Can't say I've noticed many euphoric posters recently.
Robin can be right on the edge of geek sometimes he gets away with it though.
bwahaha. That's terrible.
But awesome at the same time.
Got to love Robin.
Narcissistic.
Am I just being stupidly naive and trusting in believing that there is no way that Robin will go to City even for the insane wage of the £210k a week dreamt up by this DM "journalist"?
Oh well this is going to be a long summer again. Think RvP is too classy to join City just because of the money they would offer. He would go to either Real or Barcelona if he decided to leave us.
Mancini is so predictable. Been waiting for him to say something about signing Van Persie for months now. Funny how he manages to squeeze in Aguero and Balotelli's names alongside those of Messi, Ronaldo and Robin. It's not even close. If they were so amazing he wouldn't have a need to talk about our player in the first place.

Leave it.
"Van Persie is represented by Darren Dein, who negotiated the exits of Cesc Fabregas, Thierry Henry and Clichy from Arsenal.
The son of the club's former vice-chairman, David Dein, the agent also represents Alex Song, Wenger's first-choice holding midfielder".
Maybe its that cunt thats making it easy for the players to get deals whilst he and his dad get paid bucks, pricks.
Aye, van Persie and Song are as good as gone already with that agent.
What the fuck is wrong with Mancini.
The man has Dzeko, Aguero, Balotelli and Tevez
The best strike force in the league and now he wants to sign Van Persie?
It is not the best strike force in the PL though. That title belongs to RVP by himself.
If we had someone of Nasri's or Mata's level on the left flank and a 21-year-old AOC on the righ flank we would have a strike force 3x more powerful than Man City's
Only benefit of playing Mata on the left as I see it, is that you could put another physical player through the middle, as Juan won't be winning many 50/50s with his size and strength, but his passing and movement is so good that I think it's also a bit of a waste. You'd need two players to the donkey work in the midfield though.
He definitely went to the wrong club.

Darren Dein isn't even Robins agent. His agent is Kees Voss.
Darren Dein is his commercial advisor though. Him just being around Robin is bad news for us.
