All these players leaving doesn't really make much sense to me. Getting paid more is one thing, but most good players could earn more by transfering, even ones already at big/huge clubs, and contrary to what we are told by certain people, all our best players are paid very well. And yes, we havn't won anything for a long while, but we still came 3rd in the Premier league last year and we've bought a 100 cap German centre forward and the best striker in France already. Doesn't seem like a bad situation to be in to me.
No, it almost seems self perpetuating now. Like it's become part of the fabric of the club or the culture or something. They've all seen top players leave before them, so it's now just what Arsenal players do as soon as they get serious interest from another big club.
Only way to stop it is to sign a couple of really big names imo, a statement signing or two, but we dont have the inclination or the finances for that unfortunately.
