That much is obvious.
No-one with any ambition would stay at this club.
Kin hell, thats twice this week I've agreed with you Gurgen.

Van persie is going nowhere.
He'll sign after the Euros

Blimey, is that what passes for an 'exclusive' these days?

Contrasting views from the two papers. Funny, the "exclusive" from the mirror posted earlier was written by Matt Law who just left the express couple of days back.

That last one...no, no he wouldn't have. If it was about the money, he would've carried on sitting on his arse next to Tomas Rosicky earning £60k odd a year - that was when he was injured and there was no Man City and no top clubs would've wanted him because he's injury prone and hadn't established himself as a goal-a-game striker. NOW he is world-class top clubs are interested in him.
Really annoys me that - "If it was about the money he would've left years ago". He wasn't this good years ago. He was constantly on the treatment table years ago picking up his £60k.
The press love us when it comes to the summer, they get to fill so much of their dead space with regurgitated crap

In the summer of 2009 van persie received offers from 4 big clubs, three of them were widely reported to be inter milan, chelsea and man city. He opted to sign for a modest 70 k a week when he had better offers. This was off the back of his 20 goal, 16 assists season and he had a year left on his contact
van Persie, 26, agreed terms on a new long-term contract in July after lengthy negotiations with the club but it is reported that Manchester City, Chelsea, Juventus and Inter Milan all showed interest in a player who has become one of the Premier League's leading strikers since his arrival from Feyenoord in 2004.
Despite the impressive career options placed in front of him, Van Persie says he could not contemplate leaving Arsenal so agreed to extend his contract with Arsene Wenger's side.
"It is good that four teams were really interested in me but I had to turn them down," Van Persie told the News of the World. "It's not as easy to leave Arsenal as you maybe think.
Van persie is not motivated by money, he's a football fanatic. You think he enjoyed sitting on the injury table picking up his wages? He hated seeing his team mates enjoy themselves in training so he flew home to holland after every injury to recover on his own, it tormented him more than any fan.
Youre wrong about rosicky too, if he was in it for the money then he would have taken the crazy offers from russia or china
or maybe he prefers living in london, one of the world's top 5 cities and where he speaks the language, rather than in shanghai or whatever god forsaken city anzhi mrnergserjvhejkvhvhdl is in.
Anzhi McLachlan. They's in Scotland.

their livable to me means, if you have no balls and are scared easily, but like to enjoy yourself this is the city for you. oh and it's safe for those fuckin life killers called children. nyc shits on all.
SamDaGooner wrote:Thats a bullshit list, why would you go to australia?
It's a strange list. I can't imagine why Calgary's there, but Zürich isn't, for example. Cost of living perhaps.
If you're wondering why people come to Australia, it's the combination of small population, high social mobility, educated population, low unemployment, lucrative job market, extremely solid public amenities, great weather, beaches, low crime rate, and a more than usually recession proof economy with 1tn of resource related investment in the pipeline.
Doesn't have much else to recommend it beyond the excellent mid-range restaurants of course. The arts culture's weak, the suburbs are pretty excruciatingly dull and our history, though it's fascinating, tends to be lost on tourists due to the lack of, you know, castles and shit.

Lot of Irish accents in Perth these days …

Who needs castles when you've got the Great Barrier Reef. Would happily drown there it's so beautiful.
Kiwi accent has yours beat though.
