The vicious cycle of selling our best players has to stop. We're turning into a feeder club. A part of me thinks Van Persie is putting pressure on the board to spend money and seems to be working with our recent signing and our early moves for Vertonghen and M'Vila.

rvp might only have a year left but he has to know that he's taking a risk by playing next season (or even at the euros) without a long term contract. if he returns to his injury prone ways, man city or any other elite wage paying club won't be offering him more as a free agent next summer than what arsenal are offering him now.

Good move from the players the bbc pick on those they think are weak, fergie stopped talking to them and since he came back they dont say a bad word incase he gets angry. Linekar says his taking the mickey but why hasnt he taken the piss out of any other manager...

I wouldn't be so sure of that. City signed Hargreaves last summer didn't they?

I'm back to thinking that he'll sign another contract for us.
So far I think the only credible story is the Juventus interest but that doesn't worry me.
