Podolski hasn't performed at the top level of club football and Giroud has only played two seasons in the top flight of a very weak French league. However you wish to interpret it, we're seeing yet another drop in quality.

Yeah I'm happy with Giroud and Podolski but the money needs to be spent somewhere. Another couple of signings on the level of those we got already and I'd be delighted with the summer.

Have to keep Song though.

Right now I'm a lot more gutted about how the Song situation has developed than RVP. I guess its because I always knew there was a good chance he'd leave and it's increasingly looked like Utd.

As much as you can try and justify each sale we've made on an individual basis, ultimately it smacks of mismanagement from Wenger and Gazidis. You can't lose 5 quality players in 12 months.

In a modern day football climate where judas dutch prats stab you in the back and go to your most hated rivals, the french kids you nurtured both go to Man City and every single pundit, tv person, newspaper, even fans continually bash the club.

The ONE constant, the one man who cares more about the club than any of the playing staff, the board or the media is Arsene Wenger. The man wants the club to be successful more than anything else, he could have left us in the shit years ago but he remained loyal and is doing the best he can with what he's got.

We'll get through this because of how we've gotten through everything else in the past 15 years because of Arsene Wenger.

as a counter attack player, his movement is good. however, when we control the pace of the game and keep possession, i think his movement is too obvious and too raw. he doesn't have rvp's finesse, timing and awareness.

I don't ever mind being wrong, I just wish being wrong didn't always mean that bad **** just happened.
What can I say? I always end up forgetting temporarily exactly what we're dealing with.
Though I'm never 100% certain that good will be done.
I always have doubt.
