Think it's pretty funny that some of you are only discovering now that Van Persie's a cunt. Been clear from the moment that statement hit the press. It's also been a known likelihood that he'd leave since then: and that has only been cast into doubt in the last few days by the absence of news.
Be clear on one thing: the other person with most control over whether he stays or goes is Arsène Wenger, so don't forget where to place the credit or blame later.
Anyway, either the money or the player would be nice, to me the single biggest factor is the smell in our dressing room. We're rank outsiders with or without Van Persie.
Does anyone else feel like this smacks of bad transfer ju-ju by Ferguson by the way? Misses out on a £30m 19 year old forward so he's on tilt trying to land a £20-25m player a decade older? Fergie's gravitational pull is infuriating, but it seems like he's running scared now.
