Honestly I really don't see why Wenger will sell RvP to Man Utd. He said it explicitly he would be mad to sell to United last season regarding Nasri. He rather sell to Citeh. That says it all. Why will this change suddenly? No amount of money or begging from Ferguson should be changing that! But then all the reputable sources is reporting this. The VERY reliable italian journalists all also said that RvP told Juve he will be joining Man Utd. I can't see him not going to United now though but I still hope it does not happen. Will be a sad day in hell if he does.

So many questionmarks over this deal.

1) Why will Wenger sell?
2) Why will RVP join Utd if he was a lifetime Gooner
3) Why will the board not fleece Utd? They fucking paid 30m for Berbatov! Make no sense for us to sell at 22m.
4) Why can't we just keep him here till the contract expire. If he joins Utd on a free next season we won't hate Wenger/the Board too much. Just let this fucker rot.
5) Just offer RVP to any other club interested for cheaper deal?

1) RVP won't sign new deal and Wenger doesn't wanna risk him going for free next summer
2) RVP was never a lifelong gooner
3) Utd don't want to pay 30m quid for a 29 year old injury prone player. 22m quid is about the right price given what people on this board think about him as a player
4) Arsenal need money. We need that money to reinvest
5) RVP doesn't want to leave for Juve or City.

Given our position in the league table season after season, I think the prices our players go for are the most reasonable in the premier league.

Andy Carroll is no where near 35m quid in value but Cesc going for up to 40m quid was value. Nasri and Clichy went for good prices. If RVP goes for 22m quid that would be about right. Maybe 25m is better.
