We better extract every penny out of that lot if we're actually going to sell to them. Not happy about it at all.
Although, I do have a feeling van Persie won't quite click there for some reason, even though Rooney-van Persie is a ludicrously good strike force on paper. He'll score goals but I don't think he'll tear it up. And I've sort of been sucked in by Dules' love for Giroud. I really did like the look of him the other day, even if the opposition were shit. He's big, strong and quick, and he can play. And then there's Podolski whose class isn't up for debate.
If we got £25m and reinvested it into the squad, plus reinvested the 80-90K a week wages that Robin is on, that could be a two very good players just where we need them. A less than fully committed van Persie or two very good 50K a week players for about the same £10-15M each we paid for our other three summer signings? I'd go with the latter. Yang-Mbiwa and Nuri Sahin/Yann M'Vila would be sweet (and, admittedly, far too good to be true!).
