It's not opinion. The Cazorla thread is there for all to see, with clear reason and discussion as to why SOME people can't wait to sign Cazorla, while others are slightly reticent and others still have said they know nothing about the player.

Last im ging to say on This in this thread: I'm not against the signing, as he'll add a bit of guile and flair to our midfield options, but he's not as good as he is being made out to be, and neither is he as good as David Silva, IMO.

On here I think you've largely got people offering a genuine opinion, not trying to look clever or knowledgeable. Nearly everyone on here that has seen him play enough to know thinks he a top player, that might prove to be an incorrect opinion, but it's still a genuine one.

I don't doubt that, but I'm saying i dont rate him quite as highly as some, having probably seen him play about the same number of times as anyone else. Perhaps being a bit forceful with my point, but I don't dismiss the genuineness of their opinions.

Very different players though aren't they? Reus more of a penetrative forward and Cazorla more a clever, game-controlling, midfielder?

Cazorla is likely to play behind the striker or wide and I would much prefer Reus in either position.

I'm guessing it'll take as long for him to ping an inch perfect 50 yard ball with his right foot, ferret across, pick the ball up again and drill a 50 yard inch perfect pass with his left foot as it will for you to fall in love with him. Then he'll belt in a 30 yard freekick-might be right foot, might be left foot, depends on his mood- and you'll go head fully over heels.

Seriously, the bloke is a top player. He might not be exactly what we need, depends on your opinion, but there simply is no doubting his quality.

Where do you think we'd play him tim? Heard lots of people suggesting as part of the front three, but I can see him playing in the midfield similar to how banega plays. Think wenger would prefer to keep pacey options as wide forward. It's realising them that's key, and that's something cazorla can help with

Reckon Wenger wants him for the same role Rosicky and Ramsey played much of last year, as the link player in midfield.

Personally, I'd see it as the perfect chance to go to a 4-4-2 ish and start Cazorla wide left.
