Tracking summer tran winda rumours
Wouldn't they want like, money for him and not the usual magic beans.
They don´t need money. Not that we would offer them any serious money though. Not how we roll.
Shaqiri to Bayern is a done deal.
I don´t quite see it with that boy.
Moller, Robben, Ribery, Kroos and Shaquiri is a quality creative hub.

Really? I have only seem him a few times in proper matches, but he's always stood out to me.
He makes Arjen Robben look like Xavi though, holds on to the ball far too much.
Exactly. His vision seems quite poor to me.
Danny Sturridge reportedly looking to leave in the summer of Chelsea fail to finish in the top 4. He's also not at all happy about being shunted wide to accommodate the woeful Torres in the team. He will only has a year left on his contract by then, too. I think he's a brilliant player, a top talent. I can't understand why so many on here bang on about Welbeck for England when Sturridge has twice as much ability. Play Sturridge as a centre forward and in time he will be up there with the best in the League, in my opinion.
He's supposed to be a big Arsenal fan, too.
I'd give Afobe a shot instead if that's the level we're aspiring to.
Would make a good Arsenal signing IMO since he can play both through the middle and on the flank. I quite like that he is a bit selfish!
He's a young, English talent I'd very much like to have at the club. Double deal with Chelsea with McEachran coming as well would be nice.
Young talent is a bit of a stretch. He's 23 this year. Not exactly old, but he's not up and coming either. Personally I think we have enough 4-4-2 strikers that don't really fit the formation.
I think he could play Robin's role. In fact, I'd say that role would suit him well.
Whether you think 22 is young or old doesn't really matter, the point is I think he has a lot of potential for improvement in him.
Just don't see it. As a point man in a more traditional team perhaps, but how would he handle the playmaking responsibilities that comes with Robin's role? The reason that Torres is being preferred to Sturride at Chelsea is that he, despite his joke of a goal record, has more about him (and Torres is still far from an ideal player in that role).
If you want to change the shape of the whole team that's another matter, but why not simply put Walcott up front in that case?
I don't agree Torres has "more about him". In fact, I'm not sure I've ever disagreed with a statement more in my life!
Torres is the most one-dimensional and limited 'top' player I've seen at a top team in ages. Sturridge has better technique, better vision, better passing, better touch, more skill, more flair. I think there are 50 million reasons why Torres is preferred to Sturridge in that central role, and Torres' playmaking ability is definitely not one of them.
I'm talking about Sturridge in the role Robin plays right now. I think he'd actually play it in a pretty similar style. He'd have pluses and minuses when compared to Robin across the board, but I think he's got great pace, is a good goal scorer, and at the same time has extremely good technical ability and a good final ball.
Torres is a pretty one-dimensional player. Problem is, so is Sturridge. I just don't see how he could be effective playing van Persie's role.
Think back to our game at the Reebok toward the end of last season, Sturridge played centre forward and took us to pieces that day, and there was lots of clever passing and great link-play. I don't think he's one-dimensional at all.
Sturridge is a good player who is wasted on the wing in my opinion.
Wasn't there talk of him wanting 90k per week or something?
