I wouldn't sell that mob a virus.

Well, this one makes total sense.

It's truly bizarre given what he's achieved so far and his injury concerns.

He performed well against them for us last season is my recollection.

Perhaps they (probably correctly) think his compact, rather non-all-action style and physique would suit La Liga better. Not the first time it has been said.

Wouldn't care if he left for the right price and with the right replacement. I think we can realistically improve on him for our own purposes.

Yeah, you're right on both counts; he did have a good tie against Barca and I would agree that his style is better suited to the continental game.

I'm open-minded on this one. I think he's done well for us of late, seems to be improving but his skill-set is somewhat limited and I can see a few of our young guns (Wilshere, Ramsey etc.) superseding his contribution.

Agree with that and said the same in my blog today- back over at the old country...

Have to agree with Zico on this. Fuck Barca. Especially after what they've done to us last summer, without even mentioning Henry, Overmars, Petit and co.

Strange that they keeping piling in midfielders when you consider they're favourites to come back in for Fabregas. I know Fabregas is a more advanced player and obviously several levels above but even still

the logical explanation is that they're not interested at all. i wouldn't blink an eye if we sold him, i don't think we'd miss him at all, even if he weren't replaced.

Well we do have alot of options in midfield but we are always carrying so many injuries I think he'd have to be replaced.

I like Denilson and I think theres more to come from him but if the price was right and the money was re-invested in the squad then I wouldn't complain.

I think that it is obvious Diaby, Wilshere and Ramsey have all pushed themselves ahead of Denilson in the pecking order. Denilson still has a role to play as Songs DM deputy but this isn't really his fortay is it. Can't see there being much truth in this, but if it were to happen I would hardly be throwing my toys around about it either.

This is providing that Wenger actually spent the income on improving the side...which is a big assumption obviously.

Denilson won't be there for their main team. He's gonna be on a bench and put on to stabilise leads, just like we use him.

it's a bs rumour. i'm sure they have loads of CMs in their academy who are just as good as denilson, and wouldn't require a transfer fee.

They look disheveled without Xavi. Maybe Denilson can give them a bit of shape

Denilson is a good player and a good prospect. I'd let him go if the money was good but it won't be, so what's the point really. We'd only weaken the squad.

So how much are we rumoured to have to pay them again?

Denilsons starting...

"ohhhh nooooooo!"

😆

2 months later

its a joke TBH.. no way that 1) Wenger will let Denilson go in January or 2) McClaren would pay 11m for him..

Mclaren is an idiot, I wouldn't put it past him.

Unfortunately, so is Arsene, so I wouldn't put it past him to turn it down...
