Thomas Eisfeld
Sounds like another Amaury Bischoff to me.

Arsenal are reportedly in negotiations with Seville, to sign 20-year old Japanese striker Hiroshi Ibusuki.
Wow.
That's the kid who's almost as tall as Mertesacker, right?
Edit: Yes it is. Watched him get subbed on against Betis last week. Had no idea it was his first team debut for Sevilla.
Yep Carl
Godzilla
Yep, six foot five or thereabouts.
Wenger must have liked the look of Mertesacker at CF.
I don't know. Is he really a good fit for Arsenal? Any experts on the spanish third division around who can shine light on the matter?
There's him and that Havenaar dude. Japan, of all countries, can pretty much field the tallest strikeforce in world football.

Have no idea myself but people saying he's 'highly rated' (whatever that means).
At least Bischoff had already proven he was shit by the time he got here...
I'm glad the window shuts tomorrow can't take much more of this bargain bin shopping by Wenger.
Is Eisfeld the miracle signing then or is Wenger leaving that for tomorrow?
We're going to pay £420,000 for him?
I saw a little video of him, roughly 30 secs of action and the kid looks world class.
I wonder what they tell Dick Law. "Go sign that hot 19 year old attacking mid in Dortmund", and ths is what he brings back. I think something similar happened when we sent him to Lille.
Mm hm I'm sure he is.
Honestly these kind of signings mean nothing to me at the moment. I don't see why Arsene's prioritizing our reserves over our first team.
He may or may not be a superb prospect. No idea.
No matter how you spin it it's hard to fault the club for signing a nineteen-year-old talent who's highly rated by Dortmund. It has nothing to do with our stubborn refusal to make a marquee signing.
Nothing to do with their stubborn refusal to make a marquee signing?
No, but I believe it shows where their priorities lie Klaus, and they're not focused on the first team or strengthening the squad.
I know all the rational reasons why it's exceptionally difficult to make key signings in January, but I think we're in deep trouble, and for once it would have been worth gambling by spending money as opposed to saving it.
Transfer windows, eh? Who needs em.
I'm holding out hope for two sales and one purchase tomorrow plus Miyachi heading out on loan (and not including this kid).

It's not just about money unfortunately.
If I remember correctly you predicted our last day spree in the summer didn't you Captain?
It might be mad after all tomorrow though I'm not getting the same sense of panic from Wenger and co this time around.
