I don't know with Ramsey. Definitely holds onto the ball too long, something you can't do in a position where you get so little time and space, but his knack of getting into good goalscoring positions could make him a top asset once his shooting gets back up to scratch.

I believe we'll see the best of Ramsey when he's next to Wilshere, both playing joint midfield roles taking turn to get forward and both doing their defensive jobs like against United last season.

This is the main difference between the 2 but I disagree that the way Rosicky plays makes us any more fluid. Ramsey will hold it longer waiting for a run, etc where as Rosicky never really picks out a run and is more inclined to play a more a cautious pass, which to be fair suits Rosicky better.

I prefer Ramseys game because he tries to make things happen. Thats why I've said before I thought Rosicky would be decent back up for Arteta, because he can keep the ball moving.

I don't think Ramsey would be playing as much or the position he's in if Wilshere was fit anyway. I still see him as back up and he's been decent as one but not ready to play in the first team.

Ramsey doesn't really hold it up too long. He is a player who infact likes to get on with it. He does struggle with controlling the ball with just a touch and that is why it seems that way. His technique will improve.

And while the passing was a lot smoother today, I think it's more to do with our wide players showing genuine movement and working the angles than they have in the past two months combined. If they did that more often, even the likes of Benayoun will have an easier time trying to pick a pass through.

It's nothing personal. We won, nobody was really bad, scored 7 great goals and he keeps talking and insulting ONE player after the game, it's so pathetic. I can live with your criticism but I can't get over the way he's been talking lately, insulting Rosicky in every occasion. Nobody talks about him like he was an useless piece of shit either.

I agree Tomas and what makes it worst is that Ramsey has been our worst player this year .

Rosicky criticism is a bit over the top imo... He is a squad player and dies a decent job, wouldn't mind keeping him around for another year.. Ramsey is going to be a quality player but I don't think he is at the level to be starting every game right now.. ofcourse the Wilshere injury doesn't help.

Ramsey hasn't been our worst player this year and I'm not even saying that Rosicky has been better than him or deserves to start over him week in week out, I'm just saying that Rosicky hasn't been shit and doesn't deserve someone to talk about him that way, that's all.

Well just make your case for Rosicky instead of calling Klaus a cunt and we'll all be happy. At the end of the day we're all on the same side.

And in fairness to Klaus there were people trying to use this game to big up Rosicky and slag Ramsey too.

In reality this game said nothing about either of them.

Ramsey has created more chances from open play than any other player, there was this stat i read the other day. He hasn't been our worst player at all.

I seriously don't understand where you guys are coming from with this.
He's got miles of improving to do but I don't get the strength and the depth of the dislike for him as a player.
I'd rest him more often, take pressure off him, define his role better, tell him keep it simple, but I would certainly not consign him to the scrap heap alongside our truly poor players.
