The fact that he was there instead of Ramsey made no material difference to the game.
The goals didn't originate in midfield and I'd bet the result would have been the same if Ramsey had played.
Blackburn were useless and we had van Persie, Chamberlain, Arteta , Coquelin and Theo to create and take advantage of that.
Actually Ramsey would probably have converted a few of those chances that Rosicky missed 😉:angel:

Rosicky didnt have the best of games but he was quick to release to ball and made us more fluid in attack because of that. Ramsey's biggest flaw is that he dwells on the ball too much and he's slow to pick out his options

As it is though, I don't think Rosicky was bad today but he is the new Denilson/Eboue/Bendtner, so he'll never get any credit. Nice ball for Theo for Ox's second goal. Ramsey would probably have been twirling on the spot until he'd lost the ball.

Seriously, I don't think either should get games based on form but Ramsey is better than Rosicky.

Which I agree with. Ramsey holds up the offense. He gets a lot of the ball and doesn't play that telling pass.
I still think he's a good player in the wrong position. He should be Arteta's alternate

Anway, he didn't play , Rosicky was no big deal and today was all about the genius of Robin and Chamberlain with strong support from the brilliant Coquelin and Arteta.
Song and Theo really stepped it up today too.
So pleased with it all for a change 🙂

How can this game have any relevance to the Ramsey debate? it's really funny. Legitimate debate, we all feel strongly about our positions and much to see yet - but this is just being emotional and beside the point. He was not here, it's highly unlikely anything terrible would have happened if he was, his "replacement" was unimportant - let's just leave this until there's something to say?
