huh? what happened to the lad?

As rubbish as it could get

He's been great for them.

Not sure I'd be too keen on Ozil as regards what we need right now.
Will he score goals? Doesn't seem to me as if he would - he'd create though, but for whom?
Robin's the only one putting chances away consistently.

Also he looks a bit frail and possibly would not meet the physical demands of the PL.
On top of that he seemed fairly anonymous in the few Madrid games that I've seen this year.
He'd be more of a luxury at this stage maybe?

Totally agree Y va, but you know where Wenger will spend money.

Sure, Madrid are selling their best player. Very funny.

He's their best player. By a mile. He would win us the league if we signed him.

This guy is better than gotze and you are turning your nose up at him. Bloody watch him

Do you really think he would Klaus?
If Robin were to be unavailable could Ozil drive the attack?

If he is available we should sell Hill-Wood into slavery to fund his purchase. The most talented player on the planet bar Messi for me.

Only works like that in computer games Klaus, not in wet winter nights in Stoke.

😆

No-one from Stoke would be able to get within 10 yards of him.

This wet winter night bollocks needs to stop. Both Barca and Real would walk the EPL with 20 points to spare at the moment.

Yes. Özil is not a centreforward, but he'd make up for it with the 30 or so assists he'd create each season which not even Chamakh could fail to put away. Modern football is all about margins. How to find that little extra time that gives you an advantage over an opponent. Özil does that. He gives you half a second where the best of them gives you a tenth.

😆 You of all people who are such a fan of Germany should know what he's about. Signing him would be the equivalent of signing Zidane in 2001 or Dennis Bergkamp in 1996. That's the kind of potential impact he has on a team.

Biggus, if we have any designs on beating united, Chelsea, pool, spurs and city on a frequent basis and aiming to go far in Europe, ozil is exactly the type of player we need

He's only had five assists this season so far for Madrid which is on a par with Song and Gervinho for us.
He hasn't scored any.
I accept that he's a brilliant player but would he be brilliant for us?
I don't know, I'm not 100% convinced that his presence alone will transform Chamakh, Gervinho and Theo into consistent goal scorers.

What are you talking about Klaus, we need Drogba! 😆

The plain answer is yes. The bloke is a genius footballer.
