I put them in a different order to make it less obvious!
Seriously though, I would love to see Santos take a few penalties for us if and when Robin is out. I don't think he's the type that would miss very often.
He'd clip em

Heh. Interesting discussion 😉
I think: Van Persie, Vermaelen, Song, Wilshere, Mertesacker
Van Persie, Verm, Song, Wilshere have balls. Mertesacker is German and therefore needs no justification.
see: roma away, champions league. if they are still here then they are in the rotation.
of the penalty takers that night who are still here only sagna and diaby weren't mentioned.
RvP, Vermaelen, Walcott, Arshavin (wat), Wilshere
^ Arteta over Arshavin any day of the week.
Forgot Arteta. I'd have him over Wilshere then.
Arshavin's taken quite a few penalties for us and scored all of them IIRC.
Really? i cant seem to remember any.
Only one he took that i can remember is the one he missed against Stoke at home in the 09/10 season.
That was Cesc.
He scored a few, but missed one, think it was against Partizan iirc
What is less evident is the important role Van Persie has had off the pitch since taking over the captaincy from Fabregas. Under the Dutchman, Arsenal are developing a camaraderie off the pitch where club insiders say the influence of Van Persie and his wife, Bouchra, has been enormous. As well as the Christmas party, the couple have been organising golf days and nights out at restaurants for the team and their partners. Insiders say the squad are socialising in a way that has not been seen for years, with Bouchra taking care of the wives and girlfriends and her husband mobilising the players. And in doing so they seem to be forging a team spirit. Arsenal were once labelled fragile but now appear to have developed a backbone.

Top article. Off the pitch he's taking his captaincy very seriously.
Mrs. van Persie is a better captain than William Gallas. 😆
well, she's a great WAG captain at least
I reckon Gallas would do a job if given the WAG captaincy...
John Terry would make the best/worst WAG captain, depending on your perspective.
Some sterling chat in here. 😆
Am concerned with how Mertesacker is going to deal with City's attack today. Song's performance is vital and I hope he has one of those rare games where he focuses on staying behind play.
Old man Mert and Vermaelen getting the zzzs in. Can't say I'm that relaxed about the game now. I think we can do it but I'm wary of the damage that they are capable of inflicting. Their home form and record is mighty this season.
Too much time out with mrs van persie?
Can this game start already?
So impatient right now. I definitely need to learn how to meditate.
