Why would we want it postponed?

Our squad is in descent shape. Sure, Djourou at RB isn't ideal. But compare that to the number of times over the past few years that we've gone into important games with player like Sylvestre and Squid at the heart of our defense and it really doesn't seem so bad.

But we're in form now and City are wobbling after being bundled out of the CL and losing their first PL game, the pressure is all on them, we are the form team theres never been a better time to play them.

Yep, it'll be interesting to see how the respond. Robin says that he's expecting a backlash after their recent results but I'd rather play Man City than Man Utd right now, even though City have a better squad.

Besides, last season we were the better team when we faced them and City were lucky to get a draw when they came visiting. Things may have changed but they don't have the same intimidation factor as other clubs. Yet.

They don't have the same intimidation factor because they've just been knocked out of the CL and beaten in the PL, as they should have been in the Carling cup too- which was my point at the time.

Someone said Mancini hates playing against us, and I think that's spot on.
Wonder which tactics he might use against us this time, assuming we'll handle everything he throws at us.

I think we're a hard nut to crack these days and City haven't been tested at all in their home games so far.
I'm going to prepare myself for 90 tough and exciting minutes, expecting nothing from our team but passion, fight and "never say die attitude".

i'm convinced we're going to win on sunday. just have a feeling, as long as the crucial moment of the match doesn't involve gervinho being 1v1 with the keeper!

Though I'm trying to think of which defenders I'd rather see Gerv take a penalty than... Mertesacker, Djourou, Jenkinson...?
