Think we can take City. We obviously won't be at full strength but I reckon yesterday's team has just enough to get the job done although a few will have to step their game up.

If we could only have Sagna and Santos back for this I'd be confident we could have this lot 🙂.
Clearly that's not happening so I'm just concerned about how our cobbled together back four will cope.
I don't think they'll fall apart or anything but so far they haven't faced anything resembling the strength of the attack that City can muster.
Everton, Wigan, Fulham - none of the teams we've faced recently have any real potency in attack and for the most part they didn't attack us.
Szczesny was mainly untroubled in those games.

I imagine that won't be the case here.
I think they'll probably score against us so we're going to have to stay calm and take it on the chin if they do.

For us to win we'll need Song, Arteta, Ramsey and at least two out of Robin, Theo and Gervinho to play out of their skins and for Kos, Verm, Per and Szczesny to keep cool heads.
Djourou just needs to avoid being a liability.

We have the players to beat them but no margin for off days or mistakes here.

We should have spanked Everton 3-0 at least with Ramsey, Walcott and Gervinho missing good chances in the 1st half, there can be none of that next Sunday.

We're going to lose this game if our forward line play like they did yesterday.

I'm not very confident about getting away with three points, but things might change as it draws nearer. I think a draw between Chelsea and City would be great today. A loss would mean they'd have a point to prove against us and a win would just add to their confidence.

Klaus, this is why I prefer a City victory tomorrow. I suspect they (like many others) don't take us seriously, so would like to surprise them.

I prefer City win tomorrow as well, Chelsea and Spurs are our rivals ATM.
With the solid and mature performances recently, I'm confident win can beat anyone in the league right now. We look defensively solid, the whole team works hard tracking back, we create enough chances, and the only problem is we miss too many of them. We need good performances from Gervinho and Theo, especially Theo as their LB position is defensively suspect, whether it's Clichy or Kolarov.

We have it in us to beat them, and the more confidence they get (e.g. with a win tomorrow), the bigger they'll underestimate us next Sunday which is the best thing that could happen right now.

If we manage to get a decent result, we'll have kept our momentum and more importantly, have all the tough sides played away from home (bar Pool, if you consider them a top side which I don't).

Same team as yesterday, it's pretty obvious. Otherwise we should be able to beat them. They're going to try to shut down Robin for sure, and i expect them to have two players on him at all times. Theo and Gervinho should be key for this game so hopefully they're good. We just have to be calm and solid without any stupid mistakes.

I am not very optimistic about us getting anything from this game, i worry we will lose by a two goal margin at the very least.

If we can somehow get anything from here then it will be a massive massive boost to the morale of the team, we are already high on confidence but dealing with City will only add even more belief and further increase the team spirit.

These guys beat the teams in positions 2 and 3 by an aggregate score of 11-2. LOL.

Gervinho and Theo are key.

City play with their fullbacks very high up the pitch, so we need our wide players on their game.

My biggest concern is the right side of our defense.

I would rather Chelsea beat City, one because it will erase any possibility of them going unbeaten (i am extremely paranoid about it) and also dent their confidence. Right now all is well at City, they have a squad full of top players some of whom aren't getting much playing time but the team is winning and they are earning a lot so everything is hunky dory. I don't think it will be the same though if they suffer a blip, it will be interesting to see if some of the bench players get edgy and start voicing their displeasure impacting their spirit.

I think playing two CB's in fullback positions could be a blessing in disguise...
And theo and Gerv threatening their Fullback they might as well pin their fullbacks to defend more rather attack. But i think we cant win 1-0 if we win aand hopefully we will it will be 3-2 or sumthing like it.
Whatever it will be will be a tactical battle between Mancini and Wenger.
We all need to bring in our A game to Eastlands if we want to come back with anything.
