He can shoot like a mutherfacker, out of all the players we've been linked with he's the most reliable goal threat and fits in the Gervinho/Walcott striker-winger mould. I haven't seen him for Koln but he's become Germany's sixth highest goal scorer playing as a wide forward, hasn't he? I know people want a 'world class' wide player, but the club obviously feel AOC is that man and it's not 'oh look, Arsenal turning to kids again' we paid good money for him, he's no gamble. United are doing and have done exactly the same thing with Nani, Ronaldo, Rooney and now Jones, Smalling, De Gea. Get them in just as they show promise and guide them to the next level.
Also, I may be alone in this but I really can't see van Persie leaving. Maybe it's just being one eyed, but he doesn't behave like someone looking to exit unlike Fabregas, Adebayor, Nasri, Hleb and every other shit cake that left us. At the very least he seems 100% committed on the pitch.
