Credit where credit is due: He did beat Richards 1v1 which led to the foul which led to the Vermaelen strike. He's still horrible, but he did do ONE useful thing yesterday

i just wanted to reiterate how useless this guy is, and how happy i'll be if/when we can sell him to whoever is dumber than the scout who recommended signing this guy. worst squad player at arsenal since denilson. i rate squillaci and silvestre higher, as they occasionally did things right and didn't have dodgy haircuts (or whatever it is that chamakh has on his head). he looks like an abused dog with radiation poisoning.

Other than his first few months he has been a complete waste of space.

Definitely have to have a little celebration thread when he Foxtrot Oscars at the end of the season. Bring in Podolski in his place and we really will have something to celebrate.

It's quite difficult when you have RvP ahead of you starting week in week out and not being injured once this season at all. He hasn't had a run of games, you have to give him that.

Not saying he isn't shit, those squad players have it so difficult though. The real shame is that he can't play on the wing, we have to replace him with someone who can play anywhere in attack - yeah him. Sadly for Chamakh, he couldn't have joined the club at a worse time.

Robin wouldn't be playing 90 minutes, week in, week out, if we had any quality at all to take the pressure off him. Henry, without being particularly brilliant, showed that a player with good instincts and reasonable technique could still chip in with goals at Arsenal in the brief time he was here. Chamakh has no excuse. He's a loser - and was never a good signing.

A few times earlier this season Wenger had the chance to take Robin off but he didn't. I think that he's now in the same bracket as both Ronaldo and Messi (scoring for fun) and those players just don't get subbed off too much.

We need a better back-up for RvP, sure, just saying.

Chamakh WAS a success for the first few months after his arrival. Cost zilch, scored at a decent rate and lead the line pretty well. Ever since Robin got fit though, he's been absolutely atrocious. Not just bad - atrocious. We should take absolutely anything we can get for him.

Or better still, we should take exactly what we got him for, and free up the space on our bench.

lack of regular playing time has nothing to do with not knowing how to kick a ball. he's always scored primarily with his head. a CF who can't shoot is like a GK with no arms: completely useless.

We're in desperate need for someone who can give Robin some time off.

If it is, there's even more reason to dislike Chamakh. He's slowly but steadily falling into the Almunia bracket.
