If we are paired in the Euros Dules we will out-England you in your "game plan" you showed against Spain.

I finally watched the Germany game. Breathtaking attacking. None of this hypnotic tiki taka crap that Xavi orchestrates. The attacks were swift and precise. Moeller and Oezil, oh my. And Klose's such a dependable striker at international level. They still play, for me, the most attractive football of any national team.

As for England, I'd pick
Hart, Cole, Lescott, Jagielka, Richards, Parker, Lampard, Wilshere, Young, Rooney, Walcott

Downing, Wellbeck, Walker would not make the Arsenal matchday squad. And they should not start for England. Finally, what is all the hype about Jones?

Don´t know if it qualifies as hype, but I merely said that this 19 year old lad is about the same level as Parker at CM. Not too uplifting in my book.

Pah. You don't have the spirit of Dunkirk to draw upon

But we have our own Delap! 😃

Rex, didn't you just say Parker/Lampard wouldn't be much better than Jones/Rodwell?
The gulf in quality there is immense. Lampard poops on all midfielders not named Wilshere from a great height

Lampard is past it.

6 goals and 4 assists in the league.
The only midfielder with as many 'points' in the league is David Silva with 4 goals and 6 assists.

As I said - past it.

Sweden instead of Denmark. Same thing

😆 Yeah I suppose you're right.

Denmark used to be bloody good in the 80's/90's with the Ladrup bros and big fat jan Molby etc.

Yup. They also had Schmeichel in goal. As much as we hate United, hard to deny him the respect he deserves.

England v Holland aka Robin van Persie watch

England: Joe Hart, Micah Richards, Leighton Baines, Gareth Barry, Chris Smalling, Gary Cahill, Ashley Young, Scott Parker, Danny Welbeck, Steven Gerrard, Adam Johnson.

Holland: Stekelenburg - Boulahrouz, Heitinga, Mathijsen, Pieters - Van Bommel, Sneijder, De Jong - Kuyt, Van Persie, Robben

Joel Campbell starts for Costa Rica vs Wales.

Oxlade and Lansbury (2) have scored for the U21's. England U21's are 4-0 up.

Another lovely goal for Messi.
Where's Walcott.

Wellbeck looks useful at this level. Think him and Rooney is the way forward up front. Badly need to do something about the midfield though.

A midfield featuring Parker and Barry isn't exactly the stuff of dreams.
Parker's just got mashed in between de Jong and Kuyt.
Looking fairly furious about it too.

our under 12's are giving those dutch wankers more than we're getting
