Only players who buck that trend are the physical ones with top technique. Henry, Giggs, ronaldo, zanetti for example

Balotelli goes through dips and he's physical yet technical. He's mentally fragile though.

Disagree, this is a guy who at 22 has played for 3 big teams in Inter, City (they are a big team now) and Milan and had varying successes at all (early days at Milan if anything he's getting better). Also, he has his fair bit of trophies to show for it as well.

Also, last summer in Euro 2012 he was one of Italy's finest players. And first Italain striker to show up at an International event since Christian Vieri in France 98. Legends like Zola, Inzaghi, Del Piero and Totti have not had similar tourneys.

Finally, his penalty record speaks for itself.

Not the finishes article but a lot mentally stronger than people give him credit for.

So long as if they do finish third, and us fifth, Biggus thinks nothing of it and doesn't mention it. After all, what could be of less interest than the relative placing of two mid table also-ran clubs?

There's always a laugh to be had at Spurs expense.
Our chances of finishing third are as good as theirs and there's zero wrong with hoping that we finish as high up the table as possible.
We're not an obscure midtable club, if people want to believe that fair enough but it requires skewing some facts and imposing perceptions.

Unfair and untrue Burnsy, if you'll care to search back (I couldn't be arsed) I've said - I paraphrase- That I don't care if we finish 17th so long as they finish 18th.
I don't mind not qualifying for the CL as long as we can still celebrate St Totteringhams day- They don't deserve to stink up the champions league any more than we do.
