So City are 10 games played 9 wins, 1 draw and they've absolutely crushed both United and Tottenham. Their squad has ridiculous depth and every game is looking easy right now. And they'll probably add more again in January.

Are City serious contenders for an invincible season?

Way too early to speculate. Remember Chelsea last season! They were flying in the beginning then hit that terrible slump, by their standards anyway.

City have quality all over, but it is such an amazing feat to go through a season undefeated. Won´t even worry about it unless they still haven´t lost come late February or so.

It was such an amazing feat and it needs a lot more than an incredible squad- it needs luck too, and we rode our luck at times.
In 05 City inflicted Chelsea's only defeat thanks to a dodgy penalty.

They'll lose at least three games before the run-in.

I don't think they'll go undefeated but they are looking good for the title. Hard to see past them tbh.. that's what obscene money will get you, I guess.

i doubt it. the stars need to align for something like that to happen. they definitely have the defensive structure to turn alot of potential defeats into draws.

you need the kind of luck that will end up cursing you for 7 years.

I am actually worried, they have so many options it's incredible. They could play two teams in this League and occupy the top 2 spots. Also, i reckon the league is weaker than it was last season, some teams in the bottom half look really poor. I for one hope they lose as soon as possible. It would be tough to follow them every weekend to see if they have lost.

What about 100 points? I wonder what the odds are on such a bet. Would be worth putting 10 quid down.

they have an aura about them at the moment but I doubt they will sustain

I don't think they have even a slight chance, but we'll see.

Just one more to go. Invincibles and hundred points my ass. All this wanking over City really gets on my nerves.

Lol, Klaus. That was a fantastic ending for the Sunderland game. As much as I hate City's financial doping, it would be even sadder to see that red nosed egomaniac take yet another league title.

I don't know why people assume United will win it if City don't, though. The more they lose the more the league opens up. I hate both teams and want them to drop points time they play.

We are talking about the two best teams both faltering enough to let someone like Spurs go through and win. It's a real long shot, Klaus to expect them both to stumble.

It's obviously going to be City or United, and I hope it's City. Spurs are not a factor, neither are we.

Well they are both stumbling at the moment.
City have the means to recover better though.
United's defence is down to bare bones and there are rumours of a new Fergie v Rooney bust up.

Leaving him in the stands yesterday probably cost them the game.

I love seeing both of them lose.
