Jamie Sanderson thinks we'll be surprised by the starting XI.
YoungGunsBlogJamie Sanderson A few surprises in the Arsenal starting XI tonight. Will tweet details later. YoungGunsBlogJamie Sanderson @weheartfooty - The squad is announced, but I'm saying the obvious choices in the squad aren't the actual starters.

Really looking forward to this. If Gervinho, Koscielny and Vermaelen all start we got a very good chance.
I like surprises.

Hate surprises, especially if it might involve Almunia.
I hope you're aware that you've just crossed the line.
Has Al actually been returned to us then? I really think Szczesny should start this.
Neither will, Fabianski and Mannone are the goalkeepers in the squad.
I just wanted to wind up RWA. 🙂
I'm ready to pull my hair out... Heard that Squillaci is starting. Aargh!
From Young Guns Twitter: "Here's what I'm told: Fabiański; Eastmond, Squillaci, Koscielny, Miquel; Chamberlain, Frimpong, Coquelin, Benayoun; Park, Chamakh."
Hope he's wrong.
It's been a while since I've seen Fabianski play live. I hope he's not regressed because of being second choice. I'm never truly happy when he's in goal. Just don't have enough faith in him.
Edit: I have even less faith now that it's been suggested that Squillaci will occupy the space in front of him.

Can I be smug now? 😆
It's only because I saw them train in the white bibs on Arsenal.com.
Dreading this now.
I bloody hope so GM. 😆
Doesn't the Squillaci-Koscielny partnership have a really hight losing percentage?
Add in the uncertainty that Fabianski brings along with Eastmond and Miquel at fullback and I don't think we stand a chance.
Squillaci-Kos is the stuff nightmares are made of.
YoungGuns are wrong:
Arsenal lineup: Fabianski; Djourou, Koscielny, Miquel, Yennaris; Frimpong, Benayoun, Rosicky, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Park, Chamakh.
Genuinely surprised not to see Coquelin
Man City:
Pantilimon; Onuoha, Savic, K. Toure, Zabaleta; Johnson, de Jong, Nasri, Hargreaves, Kolarov; Dzeko.
Rosicky?
Can someone explain to me, why arse.com bother to post the 18 man squad prior to a game, when players who weren't initially listed are starting all of a sudden? Is that some sort of british joke I'm not familiar with?
Very recent nightmares of us rarely winning when the trio of Kos Squillaci and Fabianski play together.
It's a bit of a crazy line-up, Wenger is rolling the dice on this. Clear indication that CC is not for the first teamers this year.
Edit: younguns twitter is rubbish. The official line-up looks more sane.
Wenger bottled the lineup. Fucking hell. I'd move to another club if I were Coquelin.
Edit: Nothing to see here.
