He does play a lot like Rooney. He is game is all about technique and power. But I dare say he has a few tricks up his sleeve whereas you don't tend to see Rooney trying to take 4 players on.
I think I know why Wenger is holding back on Oxlade. He doesn't feel he has the stamina to last the pace and he doesn't offer as much protection to the fullback as Gervinho and Walcott do. Even with that in mind, I don't know why he isn't named on the bench as someone who can make a difference with a quick 20 minute burst.
How good were Frimpong and Coquelin? Overall the team did us proud tonight. While it's no point pretending it was a David vs. Goliath battle, it was a tough game and I thought we edged it. Very unlucky to lose.
