Apparently Frimpong is a definite starter. And no Clichy or Nasri for City.

Wouldn't mind us going 4-4-2 today although I doubt we will.

Wouldn't mind it either seeing as Benayoun and Chamberlain are suited to the wide roles in a 4 man midfield.

Hopefully City do put out a weakened team, if we can beat them we have a decent shot at getting back to Wembley which is nothing to be sniffed at.

Think there's a good chance of us seeing Koscielny and Djourou at the back. Yennaris at right back maybe. Left back stumps me, as read somewhere that Santos was struggling with flu over the weekend, and played despite that. Miquel is injured, right?

Think the rest of the team picks itself in a way. Frimpong, Coquelin, Chamberlain, Benayoun, with Arshavin in behind either Chamakh or Park (christ).

Anyway, off to this one this evening. Looking forward to it.

Bit of a catch-22 tonight imo.

We put out a full team and get beat then we take another knock in confidence and our big players miss out on a rest.

We put out a youth team and get hammered and it completely destroys their confidence.

I'd like to see:

No idea about left back, Santos is our only viable option really aside from playing Vermaelen there or Starting one of Verm/Per and putting Miquel at left back. But if Miquel is injured one of Verm/Per will certainly have to start short of playing Squillaci. That side should hopefully be able to keep it respectable. Maybe Chamberlain i

Bit of both would be the logical solution then surely? Expereince at the back with Koscielny and Mert with Djourou and Santos beside them and heavy rotation with youth/backup everywhere else.

I think you are underestimating our youth team and overestimating the effect a loss would have. I am sure we can put out a team that can seriously compete tonight.

I really wanna see how well Couqelin performs. He needs some game time and i want him to relieve some pressure of Arteta/Song/Ramsey.

Don't think Miquel is available. He's had a back injury and hasn't featured for the reserves in a while.
