Excellent work rate, really good finisher and great at finding space in the box. It helps to have Ribery, Alaba, Lahm and Robben giving service as well.

Have to say, Madrid looked awfully ragged tonight. Midfield was wrong and they got swamped; quite strange for Mourinho to go attacking in this type of game but maybe it's an overspill from the Barcelona games and fan reactions there.

He times his runs excellently. Got ahead of the Real Madrid defenders on several occasions tonight.

I think you don´t appreciate the quality of Bayern enough Capi.

I know what quality they have, I'm just not wetting myself. They have big weaknesses in several areas.

And Gomez is a donkey.

He is, but he has some attributes that make him a good CF.

I think the poor defensive work rate from some of the Real Madrid players can become their undoing. Not a poor result by any means for Real, but I think Bayern has a great chance to knock them out.
