Refixed.

😆
I think we're edging towards the truth.

Absolutely loved Pato's goal. The acceleration was brilliant.

Just watched that goal, Busquets is the slowest footballer alive! Good goal though.

It was a goal you would have expected from Henry. Lovely.

Yep, very nice goal. Mind you, Pato is very underrated on this forum.

Pato is a don.
Hopefully this week's Champs League makes more people watch Serie A.
Milan, Napoli, Fiorentina, Roma, Lazio and even Inter are good teams to watch. Juve might just get their mojo back as well. Pirlo looked 10 years younger on the weekend and Vidal is a good buy.

Pato was helped quite a lot by the fact that Barcelona played 2 CMs at CB that night. Neither of them were on the half turn, neither of them were ready to make a run towards their own goal. In other words - they handled the situation shockingly bad. Also, had Pato not been so wasteful in the game he would have easily walked away with a hattrick due to how poor Busquets and Mascherano functioned as CBs.

Pato is certainly a good player though, but he isn´t even a starter at Milan right now.

Would have him here over nearly every striker we've been linked with in the last couple of windows. Benzema included.

Have we been linked with Pato?

No. Just saying I'd take him over nearly everyone else who we might have a squeak of getting in the next couple of years. Think he has everything needed to be a true top class striker.

I agree. I think he's an amazing player. Best Brazilian forward talent to emerge since Ronaldinho. Milan have a great scouting network in South America. Managed to pick up Thiago Silva on a pre-contract too before he was voted best player in Brazil.

Think Pato is sort of out of our league, unless he finds himself permanently on Milan´s bench. Even then I think there will be other clubs interested in his services that he will find more appealing than coming here.

Lavezzi on the other hand - now there is a player we should be able to attract.

Thiago Silva is a player I love too. Should really start watching a bit of Serie A.

I never knew Pato was that fast, he looked like Bolt for that goal.

Milan do not get sufficient praise for their excellent recruiting these past 3 years. There was a point when it seemed all they would have were dinosaurs, and they bit the bullet and invested in a good combination of super quality players and some players who were worth a gamble because they were undervalued for some reason (not settling into their former teams or attitude issues). They also did a good job of trying before buying with Ibra and Robinho.

I'll never forget the way he roasted Gallas for pace in our Champions League win over them in 2007/08. The kid's lightning quick.

I'm with the Pato lovers. I'd take him over most of the players mentioned on all forums.

Seriously by logic Walcott should be able to do what Pato did. Shows how much Walcott is lagging behind in terms of footballing skills.

Don't think Pato will be suitable for leading our line. I will take Cavani, Gomez, Higuain ahead of him.

Anyway, Champions league football is really the best in the world. The Mancity Napoli game was immense. Never realised Napoli had so much talent. Lavezzi, Cavani, Inler, Hamsik, Zuniga, Pandev, Gargano. Solid team.

Remind me again why anyone playing for Bayern Munich would want to come play for us? Schweinsteiger? Kroos? Absolutely killing Man City in the final third.

Yeah, I remember that conversation. I'm with you Humble, Bayern are huge and easily one of the biggest and best clubs in the world in every measurable way (and bigger than us in every measurable way).
