I guess it's easy to forget that not everyone is aware of the discussions we've had in ET. The long and short of it is that AM is going downhill, new promotions are becoming near impossible whilst demotions/bannings are unworkable; things are getting out of hand and those 'upstairs' are being uncommunicative as far as resolving anything goes. Despite the fact a large portion of us are willing to try and devise suggestions for fixing things, we can't do anything without the powers that be helping us out and as we're unable to start up a dialogue, it would seem we've reached an impasse, hence this place.

Senior Members, Mods & Admins can set custom taglines in their User CP which overwrite the Forum Rank (New Member, Forum Member, Senior Member, Moderator, Administrator) so they're basically just a way of telling who is what. They're a default part of the forum code; they'll probably get the heave-ho eventually.
