The last few days really were insanely active.
Slumbering for most of August and then a mad scramble.
It does make you wonder how well considered the end of August signings were as opposed to those made when the window opened in July.
Do you get the players that you planned to get if you leave it so late or do you just get the best of what's left?
It could be more gamble than strategy to do so?
Is it really be an efficient way of doing business in terms of the quality of the players that you sign and the price you pay for them?
In general do you overpay for any kind of quality at the beginning of July or do you underpay for better quality at the end of August?
