I'm going to bet blind today, £20 accumulator on South Korea, Uzbekistan, Australia, Georgia and Iran. Should return around £198 if my maths are correct. Fingers crossed as I have only seen Korea out of that lot any time recently.

Also doing a massive South Korea single and probably roll the win onto Spain, but I'll decide upon that when I see the line-ups tomorrow.

Almost the same as my bet. I went for S. Korea, Uzbek, Aus, Iran, Kuwait, Saudi and Qatar

South Korea won 2-0 despite playing like absolute shit.

Park was absolutely shocking but scored the second with a sharp finish in the third minute of stoppage time.

Uzbek won as well, looking good. Don't fuck it up Australia please

Oman are looking the much better team at the moment.

I vaguely remember what that was like...

One multiple down, 2 to go. 🙁

Germany worrying me right now.

Fortunately, I was too busy to get a Spain bet on today. Lucky escape.

😆

The Italy game ended with less than 3 goals at least.

It did. Just about evened out there.

I knew I should have backed England. Specially on the weekend which we remember how we saved Europe by winning a couple of world wars

That´s not exactly how the rest of the world remembers it Dules. What DO they teach kids in your schools?!

Mathematics, a range of sciences, various humanities, physical education, an array of languages, arts and graphic design, business studies, design and information technology and last but not least, music.

Not history as it happened then. Or more likely, you didn´t pay attention and now you are making your own shit up.

Im well aware of history such as how we didn't lose one ship against the armada, not one little dingy that we chose not to set on fire, how we saved Europe not once but twice in the world wars, all sorts of stuff

Was told by someone i know well with quite a strong link to Hull City that the players were told this morning that Nicky Barmby will be their new manager.

I'd put whatever you can afford on it, odds are 4/7 but it seems Stan James is the only bookie taking the bet. I got it at 5/1!

I can't find a single place to stick a bet on that.

Germany at 5/6 to take Holland looks a storming bet. Loew may play a new 4-4-2 but I suspect that whatever the line-up is, they will field a close to full strength side while Holland are pretty much without their whole first choice attack.

Fancy Sweden and Belgium as outside bets tonight. May do a couple of combinations of win/draw but would like to see England's line-up first.

Is it worth more to bet on Sweeden before the English line-up is announced?

Not likely; Football odds are (mostly) fixed and only change if there is alot of money movement.

Sweden won´t win. We are absolutely crap these days. Haven´t lost to England for about 40 years mind. Has boring draw written all over it. Contemplating not even watching tbh.

The win and the draw are decent value for that game. Didn't watch France's last game but they looked underwhelming in the qualifiers so think 5-1 is quite long for Belgium even if they are away.

Gonna go with Ireland, Italy (suarez is out injured apparently), Germany and Portugal for the accumulator.

Still feel that Germany is the best bet of the night.

Ibrahimovich 11/4 anytime scorer is tempting.

Got £25 on Germany, England, Denmark and France.

Edit- scrap that. My BetFair account has been suspended. Have to confirm my age. Hope they sort it out before the games kick-off or I'm guessing my bet's void?

I could have sworn I put a bet on Denmark this evening but it appears that I didn't. FML.

Fucking France.

Betfair still haven't reinstated my account, but I bet they take my £25 stake money. Takes 48 hours to reinstate according to them.

Two long bets for today:

1) Arsenal, City, United, Southampton, Charlton, Stevenage, Southend. 45/1

2) City, United, west ham, Southampton, Torquay, Shrewsbury, Southend, Charlton, Bournemouth. 166/1

Will decide upon proper bets once the teams are released.

I know the odds are long for a reason but that first one is tempting.
The second one is crazy though, even for an amateur better like me.

VanPersie is evens for anytime scorer but I fancy Theo at 2/1.

If people want a great odds they should put a few quid on Fiorentina beating Milan at 3.65. It's a very interesting single. Milan are favorites to win but Fiorentina are very strong at home and Delio Rossi's appointment has been a revelation for team and fans alike. The atmosphere surrounding the entire club is very good at the moment. They'll put in a huge effort here.

Best Italian double of the weekend seems to be:

Inter-Cagliari 1
Genoa-Novoa 1
Total odds should be around 2.40

Things will turn around for Inter soon which makes them a good bet for the next month. This is a perfect game to start climbing in the table. Genoa haven't lost at home while Novoa still haven't won away. Strong home team against weak away team almost always end up in a home victory in Italy. Don't even need to see the lineup. 1.55 is too good to not back.

Going in big on this one:

PSG-Nancy 1 (1.30)
Norwich-Arsenal 2 (1.65)
Total odds 2.15

I like the way we've been playing lately and Norwich seem like good opponents after an international break. As for PSG it's basically free money. The best team in France meet one of the worst away teams. Anything but a solid three-pointer is a royal fuckup.

Right, I've backed Fiorentina on your recommendation Klaus.

Should have gone for one of the doubles instead if you wanted safe money. 🙂

I think they'll win though. It will be a good game in any case so it's definitely worth watching. Montolivo will be eager to show what he'll bring to Milan next season too.

🙂
None of that safe money for me. Feeling good after our win so won't be to bothered if I lose out on my bet.

Stevenage draw killed that 45/1 shot. So close.

Lee Dixon won me alot of money though.

I'm not betting again until Tuesday.
Fiorentina most unhelpfully decided to play for a draw against Milan.

:o Dixon had Morrison down for a goal AND RVP scoring at least 2? Wow...

Put £10 on an acc and lost out on almost £7000 because of one result. Fucking Portsmouth couldn't score one goal aginst Watford.

I told you to play the double instead. 😉

Inter and Genoa made me a nice profit this weekend. Expect PSG to deliver later on tonight too. Shame about Fiorentina, but it was a chance bet. They played good enough to win to be fair though. I'm going to back them for a while from now on. Along with Inter they've got some climbing to do in the table and the odds are inflated because of their poor start to the season.
