Arteta's quality. Suffered the last few years having basically no strikers in front of him.
Could have been better, but could have been a lot, lot worse.
Arteta is quality, I'll be delighted if we sign him. He'd be a fool not to make this happen though, he's 29 this is his last big chance.
Well this is a fucking disaster, we're signing the not-quite-good-enoughs of this league.
Maybe he doesn´t feel Arsenal is an upgrade on Everton these days...

Exactly my opinion. We missed out on so many 'quality' players moving at similar or less prices. I don't even care about the prices anymore, i just want someone with undeniable first team quality to come in already.
On the more hopeful side, maybe we can sneak in a bid for Jagielka while we're negotiating with Everton. Send Miquel and Bendtner on loan in the other way.

Well, it gets quite warm and informal for the Emirates Cup usually.
And she has been livng up north for a while. We know they love to shed a shirt in the coldest of weather showing off some flesh. Maybe she's adopted a bit of the culture?
That completes our "at least he's better than...." flurry of last 48 hours signings then?
Actually I really like Arteta as a player. Plenty of skill, if he stays fit, he could be a bit of a gem.

Apparently Arteta is the one forcing this now and Everton are resigned to losing him.
Glad to see Mertesacker has already shown class in an Arsenal shirt by refusing anu rediculous barefoot pictures.
Arteta would be a good signing. Always liked him as a player. Doubts about his ability to stay fit though. That rarely improves when players come here.
Amazing how much the threat of Benayoun has changed my opinion on Arteta 😃
