Never liked him much, but he is experienced and is pretty versatile. I'd take him for the quoted figure.

Won't happen, not a kid that will feel awed in the presence of the great Champions league qualifier.

Where would he play? I will take him only over no signing.

for 8m, he's better than no-one, and would hopefully relegate arshavin to the bench

Where he has always played? Centre mid in a three or wide.

The way Chelsea setup and we setup is vastly different, I fail to see how he can be effective for us

I fail to see how he wouldn't be an upgrade on all of our current wide options.

His form has been very patchy for the last year or so. As a name he is a good player but I'm not sure how much he would give us.

Yeah, he's always looked to me like the kind of bloke that lacks a bit of motivation at times. He's not a player I would target as someone that'll really shake things up, but if he was in our squad I'd play him wide ahead of Walcott and Arshavin every day of the week.

I liked the Florent Malouda that used to play for Lyon but I haven't seen that guy for four years. The current one that plays for Chelsea can fuck off back to France for all I care.

I imagine his wages would be massive.

Awful player who makes my eyes bleed. Please no.

Should have signed him the summer he went to Chelsea, but these days he's a complete clogger.

Plus, he wishes he looked like Drogba.

No thanks.
