Maybe if we just offer them £24m
😆
Just about every Arsenal source on Twitter reckons the club are going to do something big in the next 2 days.
Is it 6PM or midnight that the window closes on Wednesday?
11pm.
Cheers, Dules. Gonna be nervy
Fun tho

Other than Tim Payton, who else are you getting this from?

That would depend on how it ends.

Couple of the blogs who claim to have heard things, no one official or important, but it's what the club should be doing.
Can you say which ones please.
You don't say no to a talent like this guy but from what i've seen and feel, i'd rather have Hazard right now.
As for the twitter reports, selling Chamakh and Bendtner before the window closes is big enough for me 😆

Personally, I don't see him wanting to leave even if a bid were accepted and the manager isn't going to force him out. Are you saying he doesn't rate him?

No, he is of the opinion that Goetze would be available for £17m if he showed a 'willingness' to move. That's just his opinion of course, who knows really.
Oh okay. You think he's very unlikely to want a move at this point don't you?
Nela ~ Le Grove, DarrenArsenal, DuncanCastles, FourFourTom, but there seems a consensus we're in for a "super signing".
It was probably started by one spazzer and the others just repeated it
Depends what they consider to be a super signing. Opinion on that will vary greatly from fan to fan let alone fan to Wenger/Arsenal.
Le Grove is adamant, we're in for someone who has Wenger "pre2006" written all over him.
Probably a load of shit, but I do think the club is going for something big, they know they need to.
a super signing is any player that will improve us immediately in a key area. that means someone like cahill classifies as super. someone like elia, not very much.
I'd pull the pipe of myself if we signed Gotze. The kid oozes class.
I don't rate Elia all that highly, but did you see Theo and Arshavin yesterday, Gazza? I think Ryan Jarvis would count as a super signing using your logic! 😆

Not to me. A super signing is one of those ridiculously big names who is simply brilliant; Ronaldo, Aguero, Eto'o etc.

Elia reminds me of a Monaco/Juventus Henry. Would be a solid signing tbf. I don't particularly rate any of our wingers higher.
it's all relative. hazard and gotze would be super to us, but they'd just be 'good' for barca or real. it's all about what the team needs, what qualities the player brings, and how that skillset gels with our current players. to me anyway. and i'll add they should improve immediately and to a significantly higher level than before.
