Sahin hasn't played for a year. Would take him as a squad player, with an opportunity to break into the team nearer Christmas, but we don't desperately need him for that, and that doesn't make us a great it for him either. God knows what sort of shape he's in at the moment.
And sounds like he's off to Liverpool anyway.
