Song is our best defender at CM by a country mile IMO. M'Vila here as a dedicated DM with either Song or Arteta in a B2B role could work very well in offering better protection to our back 5.
M'Vila is also generally an excellent passer with a good range of passes on him. That aspect of his game would also work well here I think.
