Tbh, Jack improved beyond recognition last season. He was pretty nervous and naive in certain situations, as expected, in the first half of the season. That might explain why his stats aren't as good as some might think. Later on in the season, he was much better and dominated against solid premiership pros. When people rave about him, they probably remember the player who was immense against Barcelona, Wolves, United and Birmingham not the one who made his debut against Liverpool.
Having said that, I'd prefer him in front of Song and Arteta.
