Yes. It's probably not that bold, but we've not brought in players when needed before.

Well, well. I always felt it would be unlike Wenger not to give those games to the not quite ready Coquelin. That probably means having yet another kid making his mistakes here instead of on loan somewhere else.

It's almost a standard procedure.

To the best of my knowledge Wenger acknowledged that we were in for Arshavin when we started to negotiate with Zenit. He even told the press about how he tried to sign him after the Euros but Arshavin's agent wanted far too much money. It wasn't exactly a secret that we wanted him.

Honestly, give Coquelin a chance and I'm certain that he'll end up a better player than M'Vila will.

I can see Coquelin becoming a better player, but not during next season. In the short term we will be worse off I think.

It's not like M'Vila is a finished product either way. If we get him it's just as much an investment for the future as the present.

Wouldn't mind going into next season with Coquelin as first choice and investing the M'vila money on attacking talent. My only problem with that is Coquelin look's an injury prone player.
