i dont rate him as a CB either, but as 4th or 5th choice, i prefer him to the likes of squillaci and silvestre. he's strong and still has his legs.
and song's obviously useful at DM. he should just never come up to attack.
my criticism of song isn't so much that he can be slow to release the ball, or that he can be clumsy (though both are true). it's more that he isn't a talker and leader, which is what you hope to have at DM. you want someone with a good head on their shoulders who understands the game. song is really not that guy.
