Amen to that.

Cesc has told Wenger that that's where he wants to go only. But ultimately it's Arsenal's decision to sell.

You're not making any sense. Why would anyone but Barcelona make a bid?
He's making perfect sense. Other teams are free to bid. Nobody else is willing to. The thing about a sale. It occurs in the zone below what a buyer is willing to pay, and a seller is willing to accept. That simple. In this instance we the ceiling on the former is low for the following reasons: 1) it has always been part of Fabregas' legn that he would return to Barcau 2) they don't really need him 3) nobody else is bidding 4) he wants to go there
We have not had another situation like this in recent memory. We will not get a good price.

Coz he's a great player?
We know he only wants to go to Barca but that doesn't stop other teams from making bids.
It's not illegal or against FIFA/Uefa rules.
Cesc wont go to any other club. Nobody is gonna bid just to be turned down by the player. It's not fucking hard lads, everyone else seems to get it.
He's being sold for what Arsenal/Arsene deems a proper price and what Barca will be willing to buy for.
It won't be your estimation necessarily.
If you say 50 million quid and he's sold for 40 million quid then basically you were wrong. He's not worth 50 million quid.
That's that really.
:hmm: Are you being serious?
His price is being depressed because he will only go to Barcelona.

Because he knows we'll bend over for Barca.
All I know is we're going to miss his forward passes. Always probing and positive. Newcastle game is hammering the point home.

Well, quite. Him and his agent came up with a strategy and it's come off to a tee. We've played our part by being honourable and treating Cesc like a prince.
What is so hard to understand that a player has no fixed value like a commodity. He goes for the price the two teams decide works for them, whether it's 12million for Oezil or 35m for Carroll. Who from you can tell me which of those two players went for his 'real price'?
Do you or do you not agree that Cesc's refusal to go anywhere but Barcelona is depressing the price we're getting from the Catalan Cunts?
no cesc, and arsenal = tottenham. lets see how this season goes, ladies.
believe me, it won't be long until van persie gets sick of getting crap service from donkeys like gervinho and walcott instead of henry, pires and bergkamp. wenger out!
We can replace this shit. Honestly i hope he rots on the bench at Barca and they go on to win nothing for the next 20 years.
He fucked us by making Barca the only option. We could've easily received a bazillion pounds from him if the likes of AC Milan, Real Madrid and Inter were in the picture. Instead we have a captain who fucks around and lets people like Pique and Xavi speak for him without shutting them up. He's sitting in the background like a rat and staying neutral for the entire situation. "If i stay i'll be happy to play, if not... well whatever." Commit to a side already you piece of shit.
or maybe VanPersie out! 😐
van persie will leave, too, after another 63 pt season in 4th place. he'll have 1 yr remaining on his contract next summer.
@ naz, will him coming out and saying he wants to play for barca (which you already know) make you feel better? Why so mad at him? channel your anger in the right direction - Arsene Wenger.

I already mentioned in my four reasons why the price is depressed that Fabregas' desire to go back to Barca is partially responsible. But what do you want? You want him to declare that he is willing to go anywhere in Europe, then when Inter bids for him he says "No, I'm not interested". Everyone and his dog knows Fabregas is interested only in Barca. I am not sure wha tyour point is. You want to villify him because he is not open to moving to Milan or PSG?
The whole system was built around Fabregas and it will collapse without him.

If he came out at the beginning of the window and said 'fuck it i'm out' instead of sitting around and saying 'maybe' it would've made me (as a fan) feel less angry at him.
He could've told Wenger for all i know and I'm just as angry with that old idiot too.
