😆
That in "love with two clubs" line was just awful.
Trust Wenger to turn this into some kind of camp drama.

Nice words from Cesc, now time to draw a line under it all.

Maybe we can now get a captain who doesn't feel apologetic about beating other teams.

Yeah, looks really apologetic here after the second goal against Barca.

Maybe Gurgen is confused by that pained look Cesc sports whenever he scores. I just think his facial muscles are wired funny

I was 'confused' by the post match interview where he felt the need to lick their balls.

He simply said we had achieved nothing and that we were only half way there. He was right as well.

That's not all he said, let's not get it confused.

Someone like Terry, for instance, would never have said what Cesc did.

Terry is a cunt who knows the right things to say for his club. Cesc just knows the right things to say in general.

Why he wasn't a great captain, the the apologetic nonsense is just.. nonsense.

And Cesc would never knock up one of his team mates ex-wife. What´s your point?

The point is obvious; Cesc was an embarrassment in that post match interview. He could barely bring himself to praise the performance of his own team and instead wanted to remind the world how fantastic Barcelona are.

Exactly what Terry does in his private life has absolutely nothing to do with it. What was your point?

I was watching the Supa Copa game between Barca and Madrid early this morning and thinking from a personal standpoint, Fabregas was correct to leave. Both of those teams are stacked with players. I hate Barca, so I will list the Madrid starting line-up that was held to a 2-2 draw in the game:
Casillas, Marcelo, Carvalho, Pepe, Ramos, Khedira, Alonso, DiMaria, Oezil, Ronaldo, Benzema
Here is a truth. The only Arsenal player left who would make it onto that team sheet is RvP and, even then, Benzema has been in scintillating form these past 6 months.

We're playing in a different league, so far removed it's almost like a different game

Telling his team mates publically to calm down and not overplay leading a tie at halftime is sensible. You seemed to use Terry as an example of a good captain. For me a good captain represents his club well and sets a good example, and Terry certainly doesn´t do that.

A good captain doesn't fuck his team mates girlfriends either.

Did you have a wank while you typed that?

Of our remaining players Sagna and one of our central defenders would easily play in that team. Wilshere would be pushing hard. Barcelona were barely at 70% capacity while Madrid were playing at full throttle and still couldn't win. Barca are a level above everybody right now, Madrid are a good collection of attacking talent.

I just subjected myself to the report on events of Cesc's day today on SSN.
Could not quite ignore it.
As well as everything else Barca are a tacky bunch.
They put together a spectacularly dumb cartoon of Cesc undergoing his medical and then joining the team.
I guess it was aimed at 3 year olds and Puyol.

Cesc's interview was interesting for the fact that he showed zero emotion when saying:

"I spoke to [Wenger] on Friday to say goodbye and got very emotional because he has been like a father figure,"
"I couldn't even talk when I wanted to say how grateful I was for what he has done to me, so I had to send a message afterwards saying thanks for everything. If it was not for him I would not be here today to live my dream.
I will never have enough words to say how grateful I am.
I went from being a boy to a man and they gave me absolutely everything in football. I have mixed emotions.
Life goes on: Arsenal will always be there, the fans will always be there.
Players come and go; the club will always be bigger than them
."

He got that right.

Is Terry not a good captain? 😆

I thought it was funny the way he held himself in the same regard as Henry, Bergkamp and Vieira.

Cesc set a good example? By constantly moaning to refs, acting like a drama queen, asking for cards and ultimately putting us in a position where we had to sell him on the cheap? Ok then.
