"I waited many days, months, years for this moment. I return home after 8 years."

Apparently he's kissing the badge as well. 😆

My main problem with Fabregas's departure its that another big game player we have lost. Losing Gallas last summer was a massive blow as his record in big games is second to none and now we lose Cesc. In actual fact, with the remaining players in our squad, how many big game players do we have? Sagna perhaps but RvP has been very inconsitent in these type of matches. We need to sign Pipo Inzaghi 🙂

😆 You'll never get over that will you. Gallas was mediocre at best in red and white. He hasn't been a top class player since he left Chelsea.

"I waited many days, months, years for this moment. I return home after 8 years."

so he was the one feeding xavi that kidnapped line. and to think some people thought this cunt had some class left and it was his friends doing it on their own.

😆 Barca are showing highlights of his Arsenal career over Stings "Every breath you take".

at least they have a sense of humor about their stalking. fuck 'em with a rusty pole anyway.

i can just picture our spineless cowards at arsenal watching this on some tv at the training ground with a tear rolling down their cheek, "sniffle that could be me one day."

i don't have a problem with him kissing the barca badge because it's honest. i had a problem with him kissing our badge because that was dishonest and always was.

Roxanne might be more appropriate.

Jesus Christ. He could wait a second before deep throating their fucking badge.

He was singing their praises after we lost to them at the Nou Camp BW.
He paid part of his way out of here.
This is just another example of what we were dealing with.
Glad he's gone now.

You don't believe he's capable of loving both clubs?

hell no. and his own words show that wasn't the case: "I waited many days, months, years for this moment. I return home after 8 years." he was being held hostage at Arsenal, poor him.

@Y I know exactly how the little midget feels - not sure I even blame him for it. However as a matter of principle, no player should be badge-kissing before he's kicked a ball in anger for his club. I think it's a liberty that must be earned with loyalty and hard work.

Bear this guy no malice. He hasn't acted like a dick and he's been a good player for us.

However, I hope we can move on from our ineffective brand of football. For a while, I've not been convinced that designing our team around Cesc is best for us. We've won nothing since we made that transition and although or certainly can't all be levelled at him, I believe it had played its part.

Not too sad about him leaving but it is just a sorry reminder of how the apprentice has lost faith in Wenger's masterplan; if he doesn't believe in it, what chance that anyone else in the dressing room will? Players see our club now as a great place to develop and sure they give the fans what they want with the cursory proclamations that we can win things but where's the proof that any of them believe it? As soon as they make a name for themselves, they'll look to move on...

Rinse and repeat.

I don't really care about the badge-kissing, I'm pretty sure Barca instructs their new signings to do it anway. Remember Hleb and Zlatan. I laughed when they did it because it was so transparant that it was planned as part of the whole unveiling.

@Don In my opinion Cesc has acted quite poorly over the past six months. Certainly not up to the standard we should expect of an Arsenal captain. However, overall he's been an honorable performer and hasn't acted the fool, so fair play to him for that.

@[deleted] It bothers me, what can I say?

i just think cesc has every right to kiss the barcunt's badge. it's suppose to be an act of love for the club per se and he certainly loves barca and cuntalonia. if i was a footballer and signed for arsenal i would kiss the badge the minute they gave me a shirt. i wouldn't wait until i played a game ... that has nothing to do with the love.

i think his barca badge kissing is more appropriate than the other bullshit you see from players with this badge kissing (including his own with arsenal).

We'd probably hang onto most players regardless of titles if we pay them what they demand.

We won plenty with Viera and Henry yet it didn't convince either of them that they wanted to stay to the end of their careers.

Money solves most of these issues, Cesc is a very specific case and I genuinely believe he would still be here if he were not Barca born and tied.

The badge kissing is part of the whole announcing the signing hoopla and it just confirms what we knew already.

Remember when Nasri kissed the badge about a year ago at WHL? I literally laughed out loud when he did that. He looked like such an awkward kisser too. 😆

I think badge kissing is quite funny in a sort of I'm-embarassed-for-the-player-type of way. Hleb kissing Barca's badge, Ade kissing the badge as boos echo, Rooney kissing the United badge at Goodison, random Korean player whose name I can't remember kissing the Bolton badge after a couple of games. It's quite funny really.
