Having said that, it's probably no more than in Clapham, which doesn't surprise me...go figure.

I was surprised cos it's nowehere near the places being mentioned on the news. Used to take me an hour on the tube to get to Ealing Broadway when I was living in Mile End. I always used to fall asleep.

It is unbelievably sad what is happening to some people's livelihood.

Going back to the discussion in RP, you have to assume that the cuts have raised tensions amongst those in deprived areas. Again not an excuse but rationality is more likely to go out the window in these instances. We are seeing the worst side of human nature.

A lot of stories that shopkeepers in East Ham have been attacking the riotters with knives and trying to run them down in cars.

Also, Clapham Junction is being looted to shit, completely unopposed.

The best/worst thing about the district line is the way that it sits at the platform for five minutes, pulls out and then sits in the tunnel for another five minutes. Have never understood why that happens.

Dunno mate. Think about all the people who have had their benefits cut over the past twelve months.

Think how many people who have had their benefits cut who AREN'T looting. And besides, the vast majority of people doing this are 25 or below, if pretty much all the tv footage is anything to go by.

Simply are no excuses.
