I agree they are lame myself (hence my asking you for a better option). I just don't pretend to be "above" using them, especially when games are on, and I'm not much more mature than my 5 year old boy... (that does not mean I don't believe you can really do without it).

unless we alter our wage structure we won'tbe able keep players of jack and aoc's quality. wenger needs to cut the sentimental crap and realise not every youngster falls into unconditional love with their club

Never thought he could give us such a performance so soon, starts straight away and he's already a star. We've got a real player in our hands. Looks so dangerous when he has a ball and rarely loses it, two times the player Arshavin is at the moment.

I think it's fair to say that he's the January signing we were hoping for. If only he could keep some consistency and add goals regularly to his name and it would be brilliant, let's say the key to our attacking play. Not getting ahead of myself yet though, want to see more of him.

Wenger's right - Chamberlain just has it doesn't he?
He's exactly what we need, he lifts the crowd, he lifts the players around him and he takes some goal scoring pressure off of van Persie.
He's frighteningly good. Hope I'm not getting too far ahead in saying that he already looks like he can be a player who could turn games around for us.

One of the things I like most about him is his confidence in shooting. I feel we've missed a proper threat like that from years, especially in comparison to the likes of Ronaldo, Rooney, Lampard, Gerrard etc who could all win tight games for their respective teams in that fashion. I'm not saying Chamberlain is going to have the same impact, but I like that he feels comfortable and isn't put off by wayward efforts. His technique is fantastic.

This is what i said when we signed him. I knew he would be able to play first team football right away because his allround game was always excellent, unlike the majority of players at his age. I remember at the time alot of Arsenal fans were very underwhelmed and dubbed him "another walcott".
